The Performance of the Membrane Panel Switch

Membrane panel switches generally consist of a two-layer structure. The upper and lower contacts are lightly pressed to make the switch closed after the contacts are in contact. Therefore, please do not remove the middle layer of soft film and bubble film during production. There is an introduction about the performance of the membrane key switch.


Ⅰ. Long life of the key switch film


The button life of membrane panel switches can generally reach more than one million times. The reason for such a long life is that the action of the switch is only realized by the vertical movement of the elastic film. The elastic film vibrates millions of times. But due to the vibration, the amplitude of the film is very small, only 0.10.3mm (that is, the switching stroke). Besides, due to the suitable materials, it is far from reaching the yield limit of the film, so the film material can withstand more than one million times of life without deformation.


Ⅱ. The key switch film is good at sealing


Because the membrane panel switch is an integrally sealed structure, the contacts of the switch are not corroded by harmful gases and are not easily oxidized. It has the characteristics of waterproof and dustproof, so it is more suitable for use in various harsh conditions.


Ⅲ. The key switch film is rich in color and beautiful in shape


The buttons of the membrane panel switch can be designed according to the user's plan. The characteristics of the switch are expressed through colors, patterns, and decorations, reflecting the comprehensive characteristics of the beauty of material, decoration, and craftsmanship.


Ⅳ. The key switch film is easy to install


Traditional machine-type switches require soldering during installation and even have to be firmly supported together. While the buttons of membrane panel switches are installed in a pasted type, it only needs to remove the backing paper, paste on the surface of the whole machine, and insert its lead into the circuit socket of the whole machine to switch on the circuit.


Ⅴ. The key switch film is small in size, light in weight, and reliable in structure


The buttons of the membrane panel switch can be arranged in a plan to combine the membrane keyboard. Its configuration density is high, and it is composed of multiple layers of membranes, thus reducing the volume and the weight to improve reliability.
